Currently looking for a APPLICATIONS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST to join our team inPOMONA, CA. The Application Development Specialist will handle the coding for large and medium size projects for the JDE World Financial Applications environment. Occasionally, programmer could be asked to work on small-size projects: Codes in RPG or RPG ILE or CL or SQL new system functionality and enhancements associated to JDE World Financials on IBM AS/400, based on written technical specifications based on written business requirements. Interfaces with other technical developers and user departments in order to assure seamless systems integration. Assists in coordinating unit testing, functional testing and implementation efforts. Investigates, analyzes, debugs and resolves problems on specific JD Edwards World issues or AS/400 issues as a consequence of new development and enhancements. Performs research, data analysis and data collection in support of improvement initiatives affecting business processes or systems. REQUIRED SKILLS: - Must have 8+ years experience in application development programming in IBM AS/400 RPG, CL, SQL in a JDE environment - Must have Strong Knowledge in RPG, ILE, CL, DB2, Subfiles, Tables, Arrays, Multi-dimensional Data Structures handling, SQL, IBM AS/400 iSeries. - Experience in application development within a clearly defined SDLC is required. Experience working in an environment compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley framework is a plus. - Teamwork, collaboration and solid time management. - Knowledge of Supply Chain Systems desired.
