This position is for an Intermediate level Medical Services individual to be part of a dynamic group of approximately 20 Health Services individuals in a primarily telephonic business casual work environment. Must be a WI licensed RN. Must have experience in medical/surgical case management. Need to have solid knowledge of Milliman criteria. Prefer experience in managed care and familiarity with Medicaid. Experience with rehabilitation, discharge planning, or utilization review is a definite plus. Must have functional knowledge of basic Microsoft Office software. Experience with CarePlanner is a big plus. Main responsibility of the position is medical/surgical case management for catastrophic illnesses, i.e. asthma, diabetes, CHF. Potential additional duties include rehabilitation, discharge planning, and utilization review. Ideal candidates need to be self starting, team oriented individuals who are able to make deadlines while paying high attention to detail. Must also be fun, friendly, supportive, and punctual. Possibility of temp to perm depending on performance. May be occasional travel. Staff member will interview. Work hours are 8-5 Monday-Friday. Estimated Duration: 3 Month Additional Information: Positions require an RN to provide case management services as well as potential UR.
