Looking for a Utilization Review RNThis position will be doing telephonic comprehensive assessments of elderly members. Must have case management or background in home healthcare or ER nurses. Hours will be 8am-5pm in a business casual environment. The manager will be conducting face to face interviews. We have recently launched a brand-new nationwide program for our valued senior member, and are in need of talented, caring RNs to join our growing team. As an Inpatient Utilization Review Nurse, you would manage hospital admissions cases while working with medical directors to ensure proper care. This is a challenging position that offers opportunities for growth, flexible hours, and an ideal way to use your clinical knowledge in a telephonic care setting. Primary responsibilities include: Reaching out to recently admitted hospital patients Managing member cases to ensure appropriate level of care Collaborating with medical directors on complicated cases Finding appropriate post-discharge facilities as needed Candidate must be an RN with a current, unrestricted license in their state of residence. Strong clinical experience (especially acute care) is needed. A background in managed care/insurance is ideal, and case management or utilization review experience is highly preferred. Computer skills are a must. Estimated Duration: 3 Month Additional Information: Medicare knowledge a plus
